Gründungsmitglied der Lehrerarbeitsgemeinschaft Medien (LAG).
Seit Dezember 2017 Prüfer an der Dualen Hochschule Baden-Württemberg im Campus Friedrichshafen. Diese Tätigkeit wurde durch die Coronapandemie beendet, da ältere Menschen der Gefahr einer Infektion durch diese Tätigkeit nicht ausgesetzt werden sollten. Eine kluge und vorrausschauende Entscheidung der Hochschulleitung.
Und zur Erholung und Entspannung – Familie, Pferde und der Bodensee.

Apprenticeship as typesetter at Belser-Verlag Stuttgart. Studied printing and media technology, politics and history at the Stuttgart Media University and the Technical University of Darmstadt. Graduated as a graduate industrial engineer and first state examination for teaching at vocational schools with the subject combination of printing and media technology, history and politics.
Activities and memberships
Teacher for printing and media professions at the technical school for information design and at the technical high school with a focus on media. Member of various commissions of the IHK and HWK Reutlingen. Member of the Central Multimedia Project Group at the LS Stuttgart and the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Culture. Specialist advisor and director of studies for printing and media technology at the RP Tübingen, speaker at the State Institute for School Development Stuttgart.
Member of the ZFA (Central Technical Committee for Vocational Training in Printing and Media for Germany) in Heidelberg and Kassel. Development of curricula for many media professions in commissions of the state (KM) and the federal government (KMK).
Jury member of the selection committee for the German Media Award.
Lecturer at the Stuttgart study seminar.
Author activity
Textbook author on printing and media technology - overview of literature, link to the German Digital Library. Author of school and curriculum development in various teams at the State Institute for School Development - travel book author USA, Canada, Europe, Asia - overview of literature. Horse books - overview literature
Others
Founding member of the media teachers' group (LAG). Since December 2017 examiner at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University on the Friedrichshafen campus. This activity was ended by the corona pandemic, as older people should not be exposed to the risk of infection from this activity. A wise and forward-looking decision by the university management.
